Based in Japan.
Most of her work has revolved around the Asian and Islamic nations, and also capturing the lives of people in the midst of rebuilding their livelihoods amongst disaster brought on by military conflict or natural disaster.
In 2001 she won the SSF Award from the SSF World Sports Photography Contest, the Sagamihara New Photographer Fosterage Award in 2002, in addition to the Higashikawa New Photographer Award in 2007 etc.
She has displayed many photo exhibitions. Several of her published works include "Re-birth - Women next to the ruins", and " Tian Shan Nan Lu - Around the Taklamakan Desert." She is currently a member of On Asia Images.
