The lights went out suddenly and some Arab music started playing in the darkness. The spotlight was turned on a young female dancer in a flashy costume. The black-haired woman with seductive eyes was wiggling her hips, letting her voluptuous body ooze its sensual beauty without a hint of hesitation. When the show started abruptly, I was rather taken aback. As I watched the dancer, however, I gradually fell under a spell of her enchanting performance and was gripped by the strange feeling that my dormant instincts were being awakened. With all the eyes fixed on her, the dancer was ecstatic, reveling in the attention. There were moments when the movements of her body transcended the realm of sexual expressions into the sphere of dance of life. At those moments, I felt a strong urge to do my own dance of taking pictures in a blissful showdown between her art and mine.
